Dr. Ramon Hinojosa, received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2007 and has worked for federal and state agencies conducting research on the intersections of society and health outcomes with a focus on Veterans health. He has authored or co-authored 82 total academic publications and has been awarded more than 5 million dollars
Dr. Ramon Hinojosa, received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2007 and has worked for federal and state agencies conducting research on the intersections of society and health outcomes with a focus on Veterans health. He has authored or co-authored 82 total academic publications and has been awarded more than 5 million dollars in federal, state, and local grant funding for his research. Dr. Hinojosa has taught undergraduate and graduate course and has mentored students in research and writing. He was also involved in the creation of CrashCourse Sociology, a successful Youtube video series with more than 35 million individual views. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, camping and hiking, and reading a good book.
